XMLTools64.dll error

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I hope this is the correct forum section for this, if not please do point me to it. I was fiddling about with my first Carenado purchase and came across the tip to use the XMLTools64. I downloaded the lib from fsdeveloper eventhough I already had one sitting in my P3DV4 directory.

I used the installer and it installed fine. Then it added its lines to dll.xml in appdata. Since I noticed no change, I turned on content error reporting and sure enough

[error.0]
error=Error loading "XMLTools64.dll." in "C:\Users\sim\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\DLL.xml."

this showed up.

</SimBase.Document>

This is my dll.xml. Do the XML Tools have any dependencies? Like some other runtime that I need to install? I could not find any information about it.

Thanks for your help,

Deimos

And user error :) Or some installer messed about. XMLTools64 also had an entry in "ProgramData" dll.xml Removing that works wonders.
