747 Pushback GSX

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I already tried it on the GSX forum, but no help over there. Maybe someone here had the same problem.

I use onlx the GSX pushback function, (newest gsx version) no other vehicles or so. I am able to request "prepare for pushback" on the GSX menu, the pushback truck appears and it is asking for the operator. But after selecting the operator the menu window disappears and nothing happens. No new menu for choosing push direction or something.

Thank you!

does it happen on other aircraft? Does it happen on other gates/stands/airports?

Did you enable the green bar to see whether it misses a step from you?

No problems with other Aircraft... PMDG 737 for example. It happened on all types of Airports - Default, Payware and Freeware. Green Bar is enabled and is not bringing any errors.

I tried it now on default LKPR and it worked... Unfortunately I do not know which gate it did not work last time...

In the meantime I got an answer also on the GSX Forum. I will report them the airport and gate if it will not work again, so we can look more deep into it.

Thank you!

I often see GSX stop working in push back sequence before we actually start moving.  All I do is select restart couatl and then start the push back request again and it has always worked.

Also a good hint if it stops working. Thank you!

I too have the same issue. And my work around is the same as Dan's. I restart Couatl, and the very next pushback request works.
