DEADSTICK SIMULATIONS

Recommended Posts

Might be different, will look for it!  In all my years in real life, I've only flown a taildragger once, an acquaintance let me fly his Luscombe 8A.  I have to tell you, I have never flown an aircraft so well harmonized as the old Luscombe was.  It was a pleasure flying the aircraft, just about 100 mph, over the Pennsylvania countryside.  Just little touches controlled the aircraft, it was so sweetly trimmed.  I had to end my flight after about an half hour as obscured thunderstorms started to approach. I let my friend land, and as we rolled to a stop on the grass runway, the rain started to come down.

Only information is on FB?

That's a downer. They can't afford a website they most likely can't afford development costs.

Sorry for being negative here.

What I'd like to see, come to think of it, is a helicopter-centric simulator (besides DCS).

Not a very well developed webpage, but maybe they will be able to grow into the community.  I just hope this isn't some knockoff of the free simulator that's been floating around on the web.

I think that this is the Remex Software product, and it is being revealed at the Cosford 2017 FlightSim Show on Saturday. I will be there, so I will check it out!

Wow! take a look at this new simulator! Looks great in my opinion

Didn't know they posted screenshots in the meantime so thanks for the heads up! But yes, that looks utterly awesome! It looks totally real! Also due to the photograph effect with that depth of course, but still: that cockpit and that grass looks great already! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS!!!

Yes, it is! Please, check it out and share as much info as possible!!! I am very interested in this one!

EDIT
I seriously thought this was a real photograph:

Not too bad either (but I do hope to see some screenshots without that depth effect soon!):

Nice visuals, better than any other sim (and GTA-V as well, lol). Seems too good to be true. Given the vast resources needed to make a full-fledged flight sim nowadays, I guess it will have limited scope in terms of scenery, weather, etc. But let's see what comes ouf of it!

From what I've seen with the UIEngine Benchmark, they will use the gpu at a high rate, and they might maximize the Nvidia codecs to get the simulation to the consumer.

O, yes, for sure, I have no doubt this is purely a bush flight sim with a very limited aera to fly around in, probably just one plane for starters, which apparently doesn't have 'deep systems', no GPS, obviously no ATC (who needs it out there), etc. but, so it seems, with superior graphics. In short: it sounds like BIG FUN and totally awesome to me. I even decided to not buy a few addons I was looking at for P3D because I want my money to be ready for this. Yes, I suppose it will be a very limited sim but I do think it could well become a superb experience!

It wouldn't surprise me if the weather, though perhaps limited in 'system' (no real world weather etc.), will look and 'perform' quite good. A real bush flight sim needs real bad word not allowed bush weather!
