Florida scenery question (Seasons)

Recommended Posts

FScene X may be your answer to more accurate seasons in subtropical areas - it's a global texture replacement. I like it, it has improved the look of my FSX:SE, but that's my opinion of course.

Check out these screenshots. Took of from Tampa, FL in the Victor today. Then switched seasons from Fall, to Winter, Spring. Summer.

I do not think that is possible without turning off the stock FSX autogen and scenery files, which is what photoscenery does.  FSX was not coded to compensate for the lack of color change and leaf drop in subtropical climates, such as Florida, during autumn and winter.

I was under the impression that you can overwrite the seasons.bgl with a custom one.  All you are doing is telling FSX to skip certain seasons for certain areas of the world.

Your best bet is to Google "FSX changing or modifying the seasons.bgl"
