Recommended Posts

Enjoying my first flight since coming home from the hospital, flying the Alabeo 310 which I just adore over California.

Enjoy,

Cessna 310 a very nice airplane. The piston engines have really great throttle response....that will get you over the Sierra Nevada...love the California range and basin!

I blew it in the screenshots though, realized some of the pics had my metrics up top.  But the scenery should prevail.....  I forgot to recover the 310 from Alabeo after my last system crashed, but their gracious service helped me recover it and my key so I could fly it again on my replacement system.

Love the 310. Rode in the U.S.Army's U-3 version a number of times from Ft Leonard Wood, Mo, to Ft Leavenworth, KS in the early 1970's for commander's call meetings.  I fly the MIlViz version in FSX. In addition to the quick response from the piston engine, the aircraft was always reported to have a light feel and quick handling response. I flew a T-42 (Beech Baron) during those years and pilots who flew both enjoyed the U-3 more because of it's total responsiveness. Also provided greater span of vision from the cockpit and cabin.  BTW. See all of the screenshots in this post are chase plane shots, Try catching some quality screenshots from inside the aircraft.  Just a constructive suggestion.  Provides a meaningful insight of the model.

Great screenies, John and stay healthy, my friend !

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds
