My altitude graph shows my plane and its altitude, a safe altitude height of one thousand feet but no green mountains at the bottom. What can be done to make them show. It's a feature I rely on while flying in the mountains.

The mountains normally show per default using elevation data from an online service.

If not already done: I'd download the GLOBE data since the online elevation data is buggy. See options dialog on tab "Cache and Files".

Thank you for the link. I lack knowledge when it comes to files. Can you give me a step by step approach that I can understand in the download procedure?

Here is the direct download link for the elevation files: all10g.zip

Download and extract this to any place like Documents or Downloads.

Now in Little Navmap: Main menu -> "Tools" -> "Options". Then go to tab "Cache and Files".

Select "Use Offline GLOBE Elevation Data" and then click "Select GLOBE Directory ...".

Go to the extracted directory and select the "all10" click ok.

You will see a red message in the options dialog if you selected the wrong directory. Otherwise it will say "Directory and files are valid".

That's it.

Everything works. I can't thank you enough. You must be proud of creating such a wonderful app.

Going to have to wait until the government shutdown is over and NOAA reopens access or find someone who has a copy they can pass on to you.
