(Trust Failure) message when launching

Recommended Posts

no luck here as well

We are sorry, an unknown error occured. Please contact us at support@oldprop.com with a reference to this message: "TrustFailure"

I hope when it comes back they worked out how we can use the tool without being locked into servers as they'll mentioned at the Flightsim Conf. 2017

For those using p3d v3. Change date, start chaseplane and make sure it Works. Then reset date and time and after resetting start p3d. I forgot to change date and p3d asked me to activate. thank god it activated...

Yep, was looking forward to logging a Pirep for my VA today guess not...

Changing the date on my CPU not really an option for me unless I filed a manual Pirep Offline Mode needs to be an option.

As Jordan said earlier a work round for now is to change date start CP, don't forget to change date back again, or you will have to renter your codes for P3DV4,although this works to be honest its a real pain, OFFLINE MODE NOW we paid enough for CP and we support your products, so support us too.

For those of us who suffered the growing pains of fsx and P3D for more than a decade, we finally have a stable, performant sim. Now we have to deal with things like sw that does not support offline mode and stupid windows updates that crash the sim. Frustrating as hell.

PS don't do as i did and try to update a preset it closes down, here we go again, change date etc, must remember not to touch anything in CP..........

Some of us are off today due to the US holiday. It was going to be a good day for flying. I’ve seen this happen during an FNO on VATSIM. Imagine if this would have happened during the CTP event?.

I understand the reasoning behind wanting to keep online connectivity but there should be an internal switch that notifies the user that the system is down and allows the user to continue.

How can a company that can design such great programs let something as an expired certificate slip by?

It’s a trust failure alright. I would have trusted the developers to stay on top of there expired certificates, LOL.

Corrext me if I’m wrong but can’t you update certificates before they expire so something like this doesn’t happen?
