Hi,

Any chance of creating a cargo version of this plane? Remove the passengers and update the load sheet so cargo can just be added?

Thank you

Is a cargo version of this aircraft actually exists? I don't think that it does

I'm only aware of regional passenger and VIP configs on the J41, certainly nothing military :O Are you sure you aren't thinking of the J31/J32/J61-ATP (which are different aircraft)?

There are 4 versions;

Passenger - loads of airlines . . . Eastern etc

Private - VIP, Corprate versions and science config.

Millatry - UK coast guard have just purchased x 2 and Hong Kong police had one. There are also millitary versions, the RAF had one for a short time and I think sold it to an African country (might be very wrong here).

Cargo (TNT now UBS) fly them.

Took me ages to find this. . . Original Bae spec doc showing class e freight version (and all other versions).

Seems there is still life in the old bird eh? Very interesting to read about her being converted to the maritime patrol role (MPA), wasn't aware of that previously!

I know what you mean about having a load sheet for freighter variants, as an alternative can you use the existing fore and aft cargo stations and get the same CoG or do you hit weight limits? You could always tweak the load stations in the aircraft.cfg but it might break the loadsheet entirely.

Some info about the the other variants:

* The RAF & RN had navigational trainer Jetstream 31s which are much shorter, different wings, less power, and different cockpit, windscreen and props. UK military never had J41s but the Thai Army have some I think for VIP work?
* G-MAJB on HMCG duties doesn't seem to have any external modification beyond from a lick of paint (note HMGC are wet leasing the aircraft, they have not bought any) and I think she might be back on normal airline duties now anyway.
* VIP versions only have a different cabin (obviously) and the included cabin is not detailed anyway it's really just for wingviews, so no modification needed to simulate it. You can specify a fore or aft galley layout in the aircraft or model.cfg
* You probably know Hong Kong GFS version is already available as a visual model only, you could use this as a rough approximation for the MPA conversions done:
