CTD when using Voice Control

Hi, FSX version of FS2Crew has been working great since the day of release when i bought it. But in the true nature of the computer, somehow somewhere along the line something gets messed up with no perceivable changes made by me. i keep getting a CTD whenever I try to load the voice control version of FS2Crew. The button control panel comes up, but every time i switch over to the voice version, the sim CTD. I've checked the event viewer and these files seem to be the problem. Any idea on how i can replace/repair these files?

Windows closed the program Microsoft Flight Simulator® because of this error.

Hi Bryan,

Something on your OS has gone bad.

Unless you can do a restore point to an earlier time, all I can say you format drive and do a clean install of windows and start fresh again.

Oh man I was afraid of that. I know some time ago my hard drive was going bad and eating random files, but it has behaved for quite some time. Thanks Bryan.

A format and clean install of Win 10 never hurt anyone.  Sometimes it's good start fresh.
