One thing to say is that the techniques used in boeing787 are used in boeing747-8
It is typical that the airport map comes out to ND

You bet there are. The 747-8's cockpit has 777 avionics with more or less the same overhead and pedestal of the 747. PMDG have comparison images on their 747 preview post back in 2015. The system differences are pretty drastic and too many to list.
