I found a similar thread on the Flightbeam official forum. Flightbeam claims there's a bug in P3d 4.1 related to panning and dynamic lighting:

That is correct : V10 is out 

Only V5 , V5b , V8 and V9 are still up.

Info :

From summer to winter the clouds lighting during the day is getting way less than in reality. Therefore the clouds look to dark. Especially in december. Towards winter each monthly preset  has a little more clouds lighting during the day in the montly presets. From januari upwards till june each month has a little less lighting.. The nights were correct already. Now it is balance again.

If you only want one preset for the whole year use june. Otherwise the clouds will become to bright ( white ) during summer.

I was just wondering if this clouds' color is normal at a late evening. I am using PTA2-Saldo 4_1 v8 Vis 125.ini at the moment.

I don't know but I would expect them to be almost black, just blending with the dark terrain. Am I wrong?

Hi ,

As long as there is a sun above the clouds  they will not appear almost black.

You can test it by setting time later and see they now are darker.

hai Gsalden, for me is too dark on the VC,i need more sharpness how to do that, your preset is the best as i ever seen,thanks a lot,
