To be fair its took them 7 years to make the CRJ, and even then that was released in a pre alpha state

Yawn.....another ill informed post.

No - quite the opposite. CP automatically found my A320-X views from the v3 version, which I uninstalled months ago. One of the advantages of storing stuff in the cloud!

Ive got an urge to buy this plane but I'm such a Boeing fan especially the 737. I haven't heard one bad thing said about this product though.

It’s definitely a different approach than a Boeing, you’ll need to learn some new things and unlearn some old things to make the transition.  Having said that, I’ve flown both extensively in flight sim and do find the airbus the easier one to fly once you get used to it’s systems and methods.

OK, I spent AU$195 on this - not a small investment, but I've heard some good things.

Initial impressions:

- Poor frame rates. On settings where I'd get 70+ FPS on a PMDG plane and 300+ with a default, I get around 45 on the Airbus. I was expecting on par with PMDG, not worse.

- It crashes every time I switch to VR mode. No other plane has done this.

- cockpit looks OK, but I'm not blown away by it by any means. It's fine.

- systems when booting up from C&D are pretty cool.

As I only fly in VR, I'm a bit concerned about the sluggish performance and instability.

Initial impressions only, I have not flown the FSL bus before so there may be some settings that I don't about that I need to change.

Fixed that for you :P

Um...now I have purchased it, I've found some other downsides in addition to the fact that it is a 'bus. :bengong:

That's correct, FSL Bus was lower on FPS than PMDG birds even in P3Dv3.

Nice to see that FSL have given us the option to install this aircraft into an add-ons directory taking advantage of the new way to install addons with P3D v4.  So far I have just looked around on the runway, seems same as the P3D v3 version but I see a load of new goodies in the CDU.

Please submit a support ticket at FSL Support concerning the crashes...I'm having no issues with any crashes in this latest version.
