No traffic insertion v.8.7

Hi Nico,

I have been using PSX v.8.6 and P3Dv4 without problems. Then I upgraded to P3D v4.1 and updated PSX to v.8.7, and I am not seeing any traffic in P3D.

I tried using the 64-bit and the 32-bit versions and even deleted the "C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems\RealTraffic.ini" file, but nothing seems to work. RealTraffic v5.0.13 is working (and I have ensured that 'broadcast traffic', 'show GND TFC' and 'show AIR TFC' settings are enabled).

Please look into your log file. Then you will see that lots of Aircraft could not be created... I think something went wrong when updating to 4.1.you AI Aircraft are not activated

Seeing as though @ditrade74 has also raised the issue of no traffic following an update to 4.1, I am sure that there are others who have / will have problems after updating too.

When I run another traffic program (UT Live), the AI models appear in the sim, so I don't understand what is causing this.

The only thing I can think of is in the folder %AppData%\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects (similar location of the P3D.cfg file, not the main P3D.exe location), there are folders for each AI aircraft, but no files in them. Could you let me know if you have files in these AI aircraft folders, please?

Yes you both have the same update problem...

I have updated to 4.1 without problems. My AI Aircraft are in a folder which is added to P3D via an add-on.xml file. I do not add entries to SimObjects.cfg. That's the preferred way according to Lockheed Martin.

Your problem has nothing to do with PSXseeconTraffic. Your AI aircraft are not installed correctly in P3D v4.1...
