Baron in XPlane11 out of Sedona

Recommended Posts

Enjoying my homemade Ortho4XP Arizona scenery, out of beautiful Sedona, about 90 miles north of my home, just up I17 which runs by my home.  Hope you enjoy the screenshots, Ortho4XP makes Xplane11 worth it, a great companion to P3dv4 and MSE/FSEarthtiles.

Thank you!  Had to engage the autopilot at eight thousand feet so I could get the external shots, the Baron has a nice autopilot.  Funny though, I had to register X-Plane this morning, fortunately my key was retained in the dialog so I just hit register and the online process authenticated my install again.

I like flying from Napa to Reno, because you get the Napa scenery, the coastal mountains, the farmland in the Central Valley, Sacramento, the Sierra foothills, the Sierras and Tahoe, and then Reno with Mt. Rose, all in an hour or two with the Cessna.  I usally take the Cessna up to 10,000 feet to clear the Sierras.  I also fly the same route with my MSE scenery and P3dV4.  Maybe one day MSE will make scenery for Xplane, it comes in sharper at level 16 and I processed the entire state of Arizona in four hours.

If you go to Facebook, and search John Cillis, you can see many of my pictures from Europe.  Just posted some pictures of Burano, one of the islands in the Venice Lagoon, where I enjoyed a dinner the tour provided.  Burano, if you do a google image search, is known for its multicolored houses and leaning church.

I plan on posting my departure from Heathrow and my landing in Phoenix on youtube when I am thru with my Ortho4Xp scenery build tomorrow.  I will post links to those in the videos forum.

I was not feeling too well today.  I am treating my diabetes and my blood sugar plummeted to 45, gave myself too much insulin.  Then it went back up to 175, a little high, so I went to my diabetes specialist and she gave me some more insulin, then directed me to the store so I could get salad for a hearty meal, which I just ate.  Told my ex-wife about it today and she was very worried, had to tell her because I have plans to celebrate my daughter's belated 18th birthday this Sunday at her favorite restaurant.  Dinner and her present.  Found the perfect card for her today!

Meanwhile I am writing here and multitasking, gotta love Windows 10, with Ortho4XP busily updating my custom scenery and dowloading jpg after jpg.

If you are on Facebook, you are more than welcome to send me a friend request, goes for anyone else here.

Yes, my whole area now extends from Southern Oregon, all of California, much of western Nevada, and southern Utah.  I will probably have the space to extend my scenery up to Salem Oregon and the waterfalls up there.
