The term immediately brings to mind agent orange deflorination in Viet Nam.  The same C-123s that sprayed that stuff over jungles also overflew Ton Son Nhut AB and sprayed malathion insecticide to  control mosquitoes.  I joke that that is the reason I'm bald today.
