Enjoying the TBM 850 from Los Alamos to Phoenix.....  My Father used to work in Los Alamos as a Health Physicist.  His main role was to protect civilians from exposure to radiation and write regulations regarding the health of people who worked at nuclear facilities.  He worked as a civilian for the Navy, out of Mare Island, under Admiral Rickover, and he wrote the book on safety regulations for the nuclear sub and surface vessel fleet.  Then he transferred to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and inspected plants, hospitals and other nuclear facilities across the west coast, including Palo Verde near my home in Arizona.  Rickover wanted to stop his transfer, he said the Navy needed him.  John McCain stepped in on my father's behalf and got his transfer approved.  I still stay in contact with John McCain to this day, about once a year.

My father wanted me to apply for work at Palo Verde, I would have been a shoe in with his recommendation, but my interest was in the computer systems of the hospitality and retail industry.  I did not want to work near radiation, and as my father had three types of cancer in his system when he passed, I feel his lifelong exposure to radiation on the job shortened his life, which is probably why the government is taking care of me now.  My father was my hero, which is why I flew this flight out of Los Alamos, in his memory.  We both had careers as road warriors, I followed almost in my Father's footsteps.

Hey Cactus521 does that TBM work okay in XP11. Beautiful Ortho by the way and thanks for the story for this flight. I have the TBM in FSX but really would rather use one in XP11.

It's P3DV4.  I have scenery though for Xplane-11, just different aircraft.  Their S76 and MD80 Rocks!

Love the TBM 850.....Los Alamos is built on the blast zone of the Valles Caldera....third largest supervolcano...wonderful shots of mind blowing New Mexico!

My Xplane scenery also extends thru New Mexico now.  I deleted the Seattle demo area as that was overriding my photoreal scenery, I have wonderful times with both sims, I give the edge to P3D on flight modeling and the edge to Xplane11 on rendering the scenery and atmosphere.
