Hi 

.NET Runtime CTD With PMDG 777-300

I dont know if this is specific to the PMDG 777-300 Only in p3d v4.1

I just flown majestic Q400 to AYPY Jackson New Guinea ORBX scenery and no problems.

But parked in Flytampa YSSY with ORBX vector, FTX Australia, GSX, weather  AS v4, and starting up the bird. 

These are all same plane, time and place.

PMDG does not use the .NET framework but P3D does, and Orbx and I'm not sure about GSX.  One is temped to say that because it only crashes when the 777 is loaded the problem must be the 777, but it's not that simple.  Correlation does not equal causation.  It could be something as simple as the PMDG graphics is different from other products in such a way.  It could also be related to Windows 1709 update?  Check your Windows version.

It appears that FlyTampa's PAPI light BGLs are causing problems in 4.1. I had the .NET error and crash with CYYZ. Try turning them all 'OFF' (edit the file name from .BGL to .OFF so they don't load, or just move them elsewhere).

When FlyTampa first started updating to P3Dv4, they had a long thread in their forum with instructions on how to be compatible and turning off the papi lights was one of those steps at many but not all of their locations.  Good luck finding this, their documentation is not the best.

Well I don't get it... Now I try TDFI 717.. 

Here Air India PMDG 747-400. 

By the way when I try to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 I get the info "that this version or a newer allready is installed".

Jens, as I tried to point out earlier PMDG does not use the NET framework.  Their module is compiled in VS2015 using C++ only.  This crash is caused by either an addon or most likely, because it is a kernelbase error, a video or other kind of driver.  Please refer to the AVSIM CTD guide here:

I have learned t's nothing with PMDG to do. 

But some error in Windows or P3d. 

My sim is not working, like others who stopped working.
