Is MCE Compatible with FSX:SE

I just transitioned from boxed FSX to FSX:SE.  I cannot get MCE to work with FSX Steam.  Not sure if it's compatible or if I'm not doing something right.  Can anyone help me figure out what I can do to get MCE to work?  Thanks.

Yes, it is compatible. I've been using it over a year now in FSX-SE. When you go to install it, just let it go to programsx86. it is meant to run outside of the Sim.

If you installed FSX STeam AFTER installing MCE, it's very likely the required files in FSX Steam installation folder would be missing

fsInsider.dll

fsInsider.ini

<MCE dlls> folder.

Suggest you update MCE to latest. Among other things, it will put the required files where they should be.

IMPORTANT: When done with installation, run the app wizard qyuickly, without going through speech training.

Start->All Programs->Multi Crew Experience->Run app wizard.

Among other things the wizard will ensure "dll.xml" file which tells FSX what dlls to load on start-up, includes the entry for our fsInsider.dll. Otherwise, MCE which runs externally to the sim, won't be able to connect to the latter.

I've downloaded the new version, did the voice recognition setup, but when I went to open the program (1) a pop up keeps appearing and telling me I need to run "fsx.exe" as administrator.  I did as instructed and checked the appropriate box to run as administrator but it continues to pop up.  (2) It tells me that my trial period is over and need to install the key.  I can't figure out how to install the key.  Can you please explain how to install the key.  Thanks.
