GTN 750 + default Cessna 172

Recommended Posts

This is awesome! Any possibility to do a X-Plane Cessna 172 GTN 650 top and default C172 GNS 430 bottom? Our club plane is set up this way so that would be absolutely perfect.

Otherwise, a dual GTN 650 would also be a fantastic option. Not sure how much work goes into a project like this. 🙂

Have a look here... https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/42248-default-cessna-172-with-integrated-gtn-750-panels/ this is the addon for the 750, but maybe the 650 will work in it's place??

In what order would you install SimCoders' REP and GTN 750/650 mod? What goes on top: REP or GTN 750/650? I understand Cessna's acf file will be overwritten in any case, so will it break any features? I'm thinking of buying SC' REP for C172 if it is compatible with GTN 759/650 combo. However if GTN750/650 combo overwrites something important in REP mod (like flight modelling or ground handling) why buying it? And while at it: is the acf file used in GTN 750/650 combo based on Cessna 172SP update v1.02 from here: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/50814-cessna-172sp-update/

Thanks!
