I looked the other day on Garmin - and for my GNS - there is a "one time" database update for all of North America and it costs $150.00... Actual subscriptions - substantially more...

Well, that makes the GNS not really interesting for me. Thought I would get a fully usable 1900D now, but with the old navdata and stuff it Is quiet uninteresting. 

Nevertheless thank you for the great support in here and helping me out.
