QualityWings 737CL officially cancelled

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

Just saw their announcement on Facebook.

Truly sad - but, in my opinion, not entirely unexpected.
I couldn't find any post/thread about this, so I thought I'd make one here...

Apologies to everyone, if this topic is posted in the wrong forum. MODS: Feel free to move it, if necessary.

Best regards,

Dough ...

Understandable from their point of view; a pity, but thank you for the heads-up anyway.

Best Regards
Frank

Bummer.
I was looking forward having the classics in P3D. I like the NG but the Classic is for me much more fun to fly.

Indeed - me too... But given that the project officially has been 'on hold' for the past 4-5 year - it's not entirely unexpected.

By this time most airlines have retired the 146 and they never released a cargo version too bad.

Still, it was an interesting AC to fly back in the FSX days - the AP concept was very different from how to handle a Boeing, for example.

But now, I wish QW would focus on bringing the 787 to P3Dv4 and next revive and promote their 757 to higher levels of detail and bring it to v4 too. I love that 757 design and I miss it very, very much in P3Dv4.

Regards
Frank

For me, there are enough 737's on the market.

If it means they get the 146's into the air in Prepar3d V4, then that's a good thing.

I really do miss the QW757 in P3DV4. I need a realistic medium/short haul cargo aircraft. Now we have SDF, but no 757.

The IXEG 737-300 is excellent for X-Plane 10/11

Something you won't get in FSX/P3D

Yeah, wrong simulator. It's not that the simulator isn't good or anything like that, it's just not the one on topic.

Agreed.
But, simulator hopping is nothing I would have the time for.
I kept P3Dv3 on my HDD just to get the QW757 into the air from time to time - but I did not find this time and have been using v4 exclusively since its' release ...

I also have P4D and X-Plane 10 and 11 on my machine. To me, the Flightsim software you use is merely a platform on which to host the aircraft you wish to fly.
