NO computer short names please, speak up and clear.

Careful of the demands you make on people offering their free time to help you - particularly when they've also pointed to a forum rule, which you are continuing to ignore. Google is a thing if you're confused: https://kostasfsworld.wordpress.com/fsx-oom-and-addon-vas-usage/

Also, it seems this problem ONLY happens when using the new B747 ver 3 from PMDG, it does not happen to any other aircraft.

Correlation does not imply causation. What other aircraft are you comparing this to?

Well I am comparing the B747 v3 with PMDG 738. The 737-800 works great no errors at all, no crash to desktop nothing. It only happens with the 747.

Well another problem.
In the FSX.CFG file I still can find this line
[DISPLAY.Device.AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series.1]
Mode=1920x1080x32

That was my old graphics card. I have tried to remove it but still its shows up.
Can that mean that the FSX does noy use the correct drivers for my ASUS graphics card?
How do I correct that?

Please consider me as a normal person that has never used a computer before. I think all people should show respect and not writing short names for things. Make it clear and no need of google every single word. Everyone should understand it even if you are used with it since you live in front of the computer.
I am a pilot in real life and we have a lot of short names, if I should use that in here noone should understand me either. So do not blame me. Just speak CLEARLY.

Thank you

His full name is in his signature, as is mine. If you are using a mobile browser like Safari to access the forum, you may not see the signature block that is appended to the end of each user’s post.

The requirement to use one’s full name has been in place in the PMDG forums for years, and the requirement is in a sticky post at the top of every PMDG forum.

The requirement is at least partially an anti-piracy measure. The alternative would be to make the forums closed (as many developers do), requiring users to email proof of purchase to the moderators before granting access, but that would be unfair to those individuals who do not yet own the product, but want to ask questions about it.

Note my real name in my sig as well as to where to place it.

BTW OOM errors are a chronic issue in decrepit 32 bit FSX.

This flier has never seen them again since moving to 64 bit P3Dv4.

Since you have a full name, if you mean Fredrik Bergkvist.  I am trying to locate your account in our system but I am unable to do so, can you please provide the order ID of your purchase.

Hej, Fredrik! ATPL(A) och CPL(A), MCC och MPL?

Hej.

What is the reason for presenting full name in front of everyone here?

If you should have a more serious customer support, you will reply to each and everyone alone by e-mail or similar, not publish everything here.
Why don´t you have a real customer support instead of this forum?

So the problem remains only with B747 ver 3.
That gives me OUT OF MEMORY on approaches all the time.

That never happened in Windows 7 Ultimate or does never happen with Boeing 737-800.

The graphics settings are at the LOWEST possible and it still happens.
Everything is set to the lowest possible and still ONLY PMDG Boeing 747 ver3 crashes every single time.
I don´t know what you suggest next, but I will not spend more money to upgrade my computer a tiny bit more since it has NO PROBLEMS with anything else.

Is the B747 ver 3 really made for FSX?
I doubt it since this keeps happening.

I still get the EXACT same problem as from first time.

So this cannot depend on the computer anymore. There must be some kind of software malfunction here.
Either Windows 10 that is word not allowed from the start or PMDG B747 ver 3 software that is not configured to be used with Windows 10 and FSX.

Do you have an answer why the PMDG ver3 worked GREAT in Windows 7 Ultimate, with the exact same computer BUT with a 2 GB video card. And now with a 6x better video card it just keeps crashing. This must mean PMDG B 747 ver 3 is NOT made for Windows 10, right?

Hi,

They have a real customer support by trouble tickets:

https://support.precisionmanuals.com/Main/

The forum is merely a customer-to-customer support even if PMDG staff keeps a look at it, and requires to follow the rules which you still don't.

If you don't want to display your names, then you can submit a ticket that only PMDG staff will be able to see.

Please Fredrik, don't forget that you have to create a new account for this customer support!

Your current account for the PMDG-shop or this forum is not valid for the customer support.

This is one more security level for your privacy.

Hope you sorted out...

To verify your information in our system because you chose to seek support here instead of via the official support function...which is curious because:

...we do have an official customer support function, which you have elected to not use. You literally have to trip over links to the official support system in order to get here in the forum, so, while I'm normally pretty forgiving when it comes to pointing people to the right place, your attitude here is pretty inexcusable. Moreover, both Chris and myself have it linked in our signatures.

If you're going to give people accusatory lip, you should at least verify that you're correct first...

I do have an answer, yes...

It worked great in Win 7. This proves that the code, itself, is just fine. Your change from Win 7 to Win 10 didn't come with a change to the 744 code at all. As such, this would indicate an issue with your system, and not our code. This is confirmed by your crash reports, which do not point to our code at all. So, instead of the smarmy responses accusing us of being awful, let's be real here...

You'd get a lot further in receiving help if you actually spent more time on interacting with us to help you instead of constantly berating us. Sorry, you may be a customer, but that does not give you all of the freedom to act in this manner. I'm locking this thread as a result. You can continue to seek support for this via the official support function, linked in my signature (support.precisionmanuals.com).
