Static Current - Thrustmaster HOTAS

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I am current using the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog with throttle and joystick. I have been using it for years and it's been great but lately now when I touch the "fire" button on the joystick I occasionally get static current on my fingers which forces me to remove my hands quickly. It happens randomly and as I try to put my finger on the "fire" button again, after a few times, it goes away. Hope it makes sense? When i touch the round metallic pad near the Joystick's movement ball, I also get static sometimes. The throttle however works fine. Is this possible faulty cable that connects the PC with Joystick through USB? I just want to know the possible reasons and how it can be fixed. Would appreciate your help.

Thank You.
