Weight issues with PMDG aircraft

Recommended Posts

I've had this issue with both of the MD-11 and the 747v3 lately. I'm not sure why but the gross weight keeps changing back and forth between two different weight levels. Its would you would expect if you added more fuel midflight and kept getting inconsistent fuel predictions in the FMC, except I'm not changing any weight levels once I load the panel state. This happened right when I landed the MD-11. I got the green "ZFWCG out of range" message at the top. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

What are you using the change the fuel? Are you using any external VA programs or other add-ons?

I use TOPCAT to load the payload, but fuel is always managed internally with PMDG.

As mentioned in the intro manual, you should never use any sort of external tool to load/alter/modify fuel or weight/payload in our aircraft.

Kyle,

I noticed that Alaska has replaced their combi's with the B737-700Fs they had converted to freighters.  Any chance that you folks will give us an updated "fde" and also model the B737 Max?
