minimum requirements for PMDG 737

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just wanted to know how well PMDG 737 will perform on my system.  my system details are

- AMD FX 8800P (2.1Ghz up to 3.0 Ghz)  with Radeon R7 graphics card, 12GB RAM and the graphics card has a total memory of 8650mb (3000 ish dedicated and 5000 ish shared.)

I just wanted to know If anyone else has such specs and has PMDG products or any other high level addons.

Just looking at the requirements for the PMDG 737NGX makes me wonder.  I have read that

people with laptops running at 1.9 GHZ say they can do it.  Keep in mind that if you include

any payware weather, airports, ground scenery, etc will cause grief and difficulties.  Make

sure there are no children in the room when the swearing starts!

I wouldn’t attempt it with that clock speed unless you flying with no AI cars, ships or boats, and no addon airports and maybe some settings turned down, like autogen and scenery complexity. I’d recommend at least a clock speed of 3.5 or higher.
