FSX locks up

I had to manually point CP to my FSX.exe since it wasn't showing in the Preferences that shows all my available flightsims (FSX Accel,  P3Dv3 and P3Dv4.1).  Both P3D's work fine and in full screen.  Everytime I load up FSX and hit the middle mouse wheel, the cursor locks up and nothing CP related shows.  I've tried several times to redo the path, as well have tried it in both windowed mode and full screen.  Nothing I have tried has worked.  Everytime I try it, mouse cursor locks up and I get the message that CP is not responding.  Then I have to go into the Task Manager to shut it off.

Any suggestions or ideas??  I'm not using the experimental version, if that helps.  Thanks!!

No.  Since this version isn't working, I didn't see the need to try the experimental one.  I'll try it now.

Experimental channel is where we test bug fixes among other things. If you are having issues with something, there is a good chance of it being fixed in the Experimental channel.

2 Things happened.  I can now use CP in windowed mode in FSX with the experimental.  Problem now is, both P3D will not let me use the middle mouse button to bring up CP in full screen.  I have to go to windowed mode for both for it to work.

2 things, sorry.  Can there be separation between FSX and P3D, or is it a global thing??  Second, this is why I have 2 desktops with all 4 flightsims.  This one to test before I use it on my "dedicated" flightsim desktop.

Can you elaborate more on what you mean when you say it doesn't let you?

You cannot have both versions running at the same time but you can toggle between them if needed. 

Later this week, we will have 0.4 out that should fix a lot of the issues people are reporting with the current builds.

Instead being able to use it in full screen, I now have to go to windowed mode, same as FSX.  Before, I could have both P3D open CP with the middle mouse button in full screen.  Now it has to be in windowed mode.

Edit:  I make sure I run one sim at a time.
