Proper Way of Requesting a Different runway?

Assuming you have all 3 ATC Assigns xxxx options checked,

#1 is accomplished by checking the Load Recommended Procedures option or by using the Auto Plan button.

#2 is accomplished by not checking the Force Pilot Runway Selection, however, the flight plan is not changed when assigned procedures change.  This is because of the separation of ATC's version of the flight plan and your version, which you are responsible for updating.

I will add an item to the future enhancements list to keep the pilot's version of the flight plan and map in sync with ATC's.
