Another update in case you've missed it:

GNS V2 v2.3.7 and GTN v2.4.11 are now live via "Check Updates...".

The former 2.3.6 and 2.4.10 discussions have been updated with change logs in their respective product forums.

Hi Scott,

Our products have been shipping with an automatic updater for at least 8 years! I'd even think we might have been among the first to do so at the time. Anytime you'd load a RXP equipped aircraft, it would check for updates.

There is a difference though with our newest products: it requires to do it manually instead. For FltSim, open the settings panel, then "Check Update..." button, for XPlane, open the plugins menu, Reality XP GTN/GNS, Check Updates...

The reason for manual 'checking' is just that this avoids 'risking' a product failure in case the auto-updater fails for any reason in the future (say a Windows update breaking whatever necessary), as well as to reduce unnecessary traffic.
