Ut Live add on xml

Recommended Posts

It seems that UTLive is changing the encoding or something with characters. Could someone paste what the add-on xml should look like for the latest v.30. I change encoding to say utf16 and Lorby says everything ok. The next time I reboot or load P3dv4.1 and UTLive, I check encoding and the error message pops up again. in Lorby's .unless something is screwy in another folder..program data or wherever.

Thanks,

Bob M.

Hi Bob,

the text declaration at the top doesn't say what the encoding is, so UTF-8 without BOM is assumed.

Problem is, that you cannot change this file - the UTL application (not the client) will rewrite it every time it is started. This is a real problem for me, because I don't keep the UTL aircraft in their standard location. And what is worse, it adds an entry to the simobjects.cfg too, which leads to a conflict with the XML (duplicate simobject names).

Best regards

LORBY-SI
