Ability to disable Context Menu?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I remain amazed and impressed by the continuous development of Chase Plane. An issue that I've had with FSX/P3D in general in inadvertent selection of the Context Menu, which shows a pop up menu containing Cockpit, Outside, ... when I right click the screen. This is pronounced in complex aircraft that use the right mouse button to interact with controls.

Is there a way to disable the right mouse button from launching the Context menu, either with a setting in P3D/FSX or as a feature in ChasePlane? I thought I saw this enabled in an early alpha of CP, but I haven't been able to find it in quite a while.

Thank you,

Craig

We had an option to use the Right mouse button to pan around but we removed it due to stability issues. We will revisit that feature at some point but it's not our focus right now.

Isn't he ask for you to not use the right mouse button so that he can use it for aircraft controls?

ChasePlane doesn’t use the right-click. What I understand from his post is that he wants a way to disable the default contextual menu to prevent it from showing when he right-clicks by accident.

Ah.  Hmmm...never heard that one before.

Yes, Keven. That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Thank you,

Craig

You might want to ask how to disable it in the P3d forum.  I wouldn't think you'd want a view app to be responsible for that.

He asked here because of that and he is indeed right, we had something similar in CP.
