Incorrect headings with saitek multipanel autopilot

The autopilot gets close to destination airport then starts giving the wrong headings. I set two way points indicating the runway. Do I need to set anything other than alt, vs, ias,and heading .

Also the tower at times keeps repeating the runway to go to. I tried reinstalling the drivers and software with no success. I would appreciate any help.
