Do you want the PDF Kneeboard back? Here is how.

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the useful tip!. Installed it, but it seems that you have to put your sim in windowed mode for this utility to work as intended, have you checked this?.

Yes, windowed mode, but that is no problem, since it works flawlessly in window mode as well.

I really miss the PDF Kneeboard add-on... thanks for this but I really wish you can use it with P3D in fullscreen mode.

Yes, that's right. It seems it works only in windowed mode, and not in full-screen mode (too bad for me).

Any way to change your flying habits to windowed screen? :) Same performance, really convenient, since you can access browser with a lot of useful info, especially when flying big boys. Plus the black out screen option looks the same as full screen mode these days.

This is awesome, thanks!

Now, if only I could have that little landing rate box that used to show up back in v3 days thanks to a custom FSUIPC lua script, my v4 sim would be complete then.

Edit: Landing Rate Monitor for P3D does what I wanted so guess I'm all set!

Is there a way to make window mode look like full screen?

If your budget allows it, get a bigger screen.  Windowed mode used to bother me alot until I got a 55'.  Now i don't notice windowed mode at all - and in fact, prefer it.

I have a 55" 4k TV as well... hehehhe. But does running P3D in window mode cause any significant performance loss in FPS as oppose to fullscreen mode?

I have 55 4K as well. Not at all, in fact same performance. And you can't even tell it's windowed, since all borders are removed anyways.

Interesting, I'll have to give this a try then. Would be awesome if I can have other windows set to 'always on top'. Such as PFPX, Aivlasoft EFB, Chrome, etc while I'm flying long haul.
