I raised three daughters Chris.  They were all in high school at the same time.

I've been with my partner almost 8 years now, we have a daughter and another one on the way. The question of marriage does come up from time to time but we have always said to people we plan on staying Happily Unmarried for the Rest of our lives....

I agree the concept of marriage is out of date, it is the ones like us that get along well years on end by just being who we are.
