I have all of Canuk's freeware and payware scenery and am very pleased with their efforts and quality; However, If I try to load CYCH in the summer season, Fs9 crashes to the desktop. It loads fine during all other seasons with the exception of summer. It not only affects CYCH but all of their New Brunswick sceneries as well. If I disable the CYCH folder I get summer back in New Brunswick fro all of their other sceneries. Adam at Canuk has been doing his very best to be helpful but cant figure this one out either. So am I loosing my sanity? Has anyone else here in the FS world purchased this scenery and tried using it during the summer season in FS9? I would appreciate anyone who has this scenery to load it during the summer and see what happens and let us know. either here or at the Canuk forum. Mucho Gracias in advance.Jim

Jim,I have the CYCH scenery and it works fine on my system with Summer selected. Sorry I cannot throw any more light on your problem. Sometimes these crashes are causeed by errant or missing texture files. Have you done any modifications lately that could have altered default files?

It's not the scenery. You're the only one with this issue. Make sure your scenery isn't set to CACHED mode. We have not had one complaint or experienced this issue from any of our clients.

Hi Jim,I will continue to try to help you solve your problem, but without other instances of this occuring, it is difficult to establish a pattern at this point. If others experience this problem as FS turns to summer in their various regions, I may be able to determine a fix as I can compare various settings and add-on files. Also, from previous conversations we had, I thought it was restricted to just CYCH, not all the other Maritime sceneries.What we have discovered in the past, not specifically with our sceneries, is just as Graeme mentions - missing texture files.Hang in there, we'll sort this out for you.Adam

Problem Solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just as you guys advised it was an errant or missing Texture.I backed up my present textures and went back to the FS9 CD's and re-extracted the default Textures and World Textures and overwrote the ones I had and It worked. I now have Summer in New Brunswick with CYCH active.Thanks Guys for the info and Help.Bring On Calgary!!!!!!!Jim
