NGX clock resets to 0 after 100 minutes

I've read many forums and in many places as to how I can change the clock to hours:minutes rather than just in minutes so it resets after 100 minutes. Does anyone know how I can do this. I have looked through the settings in the FMC I can't seem to find anything. Thanks

Are you sure you aren't mistaking the stopwatch for the Elapsed Time clock?

I generally select the ET switch to start the clock.

I don't think so as you can't auto cruise in the NGX

Uh?  What has "auto cruise" (aka auto time compression) have to do with elapsed time?  The chronometer functions are in the FCOM, and include time, elapsed time and timer.  The timer is limited to 0-99 min.  The timer is generally only used for specific tasks such as in some instrument approach procedures or holding.  Hope this helps.

Right ok thanks, so how can I time my flight as I have seen many youtubers timing their flights like 2 hrs 20 mins etc. Thanks

Bottom left corner of the clock, you'll see a button that says ET. Press on it and the clock will start to run. You'll see an ET indication right next to the button. Press on it again to stop the clock and you'll see the indicator change to HLD. Press on reset to return the clock to 0:00.
