Problem with Lighting

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with the Landing & Taxi Lights on P3D. These lights illuminate perfectly the Ground when I use for example the Carenado Bonanza, or the C182 A2A, but it does not illuminate anything on the Carenado C182 or C206 (I see them turned ON on the external view, but it does not illuminate the Ground).

Dynamic Lighting and "Landing Light Illuminate Ground" are Checked on P3D Menu. I really don't know what's wrong... I have uninstall and installed P3D and these Plane again but the problem is still there.

I wrote to Carenado and they told me that they don't have these problem so they can't help me...

I'm totally lost...

Hi Ludo,

I might be able to help as I work with planes lighting, before we jump into conclusion can you provide me with some more information?

Are the Carenado C182 and C206 default planes or you bought them trough carenado?

Simbol

Hello Simbol,

Thank you for your answer. I Bought them from Carenado (they are not Default Plane).

Kind regards

Ok it means their effects are missing the dynamic lighting information, did you bought the PD4 version? or PD3 version?

Just a thought, did you selected the right simulator when installing?

I have lots of Carenado products and they all work fine with PD3V4.

If you did contact me privately I will check your planes later to confirm they have the right effects or is a bug from Carenado.

Help!

Same problem with the Carenado Phenom300 version 2 for P3Dv4. Taxi lights are brighter than the landing lights which isn't bright at all. I thought Carenado wired them wrong.

Installed into the default Carenado location (root directory of P3Dv4) so the installer should have put Effects, Gauges, etc in correctly.

TIA,

J

Hi Tia,

That is different from ludos problem as he didn't had any lights.

Can you post a video to show me your case? Also list your system and current add-on's installed.

Do the reinstall and be sure to select Run as Administrator.

Hola Simbol,

He installado otra vez los Carenado como administrator y las luces functionnan pero son muy bajas frente a las luces del A2A.

Pienses que es possible poner las luces del A2A en el Carenado ?

Muchas gracias.
