November 20, 20178 yr Hi guys, I have trouble to get my yoke's HAT switch to work for panning and tilting. I have deleted any action for the HAT switch in my PREPAR3D V4.1 settings and I have also assined the switch to the panning and tilting function in the Chase Plane settings. All presets are working fine but when I use the HAT switch the view instantly snaps back to the preset view. So I have no panning and tilting movement it just filckers. Same when I try to use my TrackIR. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! Greetings from Germany Timo
November 20, 20178 yr Timo, I see you use TrackIR. Have you selected "Enable Track IR" in the various presets? I think i had the same issue, after enable TrackIR my issue was gone ... Regards, William Vrielynck
November 20, 20178 yr Author Hi headley, thanks for your reply. Yes, I have selected both Track IR options - under preferences and advanced camera options as well...
November 22, 20178 yr Commercial Member I just published a tutorial on how to use TrackIR: Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.
November 22, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the tutorial. But the HAT switch was also not working properly - TrackIR was not even installed at that time. I think my issue was something more global. Timo

December 13, 20178 yr Author Hi Keven, sorry for my late response. I discovered some more issues with other 3rd party addons, so I decided to reinstall all of my flightsim stuff on a clean maschine with admin rights.Caseplane works like a charm now - absolute no issues anymore! I probably messed up my installation because of using a user account with restricted rights. Apparently some addons can handle this - some not. Don't know if Caseplane can handle it but it was definitely affected by some other messed up stuff. Thanks for your help! Best Regards Timo
