Version 8.16 released

Hi guys,

New version 8.16 is available for download. 

I've updated the algorithms for moving the live aircraft. They are now fully based on the groundspeeds in the RealTraffic data, resulting in (even) more realistic behaviour, in particular during the take-off roll ...

I'm really enjoying the improvements that you're making to this program!

One thing I noted after updating to v8.18 is that some AI models fly the glide slope while slowly spinning 360° on the horizontal axis, fly back against the direction of the approach, then return to following the correct approach path whilst still spinning.
I thought it was a problem with just the new version, but it seems to affect v8.16 as well. Any thoughts on this please?

I will test the just released v9.0 to see if I still see this problem.

I have seen that too at KLAX, but not at EHAM. Are that specific aircraft types, such as Embraers, or?

If it is caused by my new feature of keeping aircraft alive that was introduced in v8.18 i would not expect to see it in 8.16 too...

Mist likely it is caused bij wrong RealTraffic data..

I will also investigate further.

Try 9.1, I have changed my algorithms such that sudden heading changes during landing will be ignored.

Lots of "ballet dancing" aircraft now, sadly.
Planes spinning on short final, on the initial take-off roll and some even on taxiways.

Version 9.4 is out, the best one sofar.

I have to work on other stuff the coming weeks, so I will only respond to bug reports.
