Turbine Duke Native P3D v4

Recommended Posts

Working with Sean per his avsim post (and a few other customers) towards a native installer for P3D v4.

In mine I've also added Reality XP GTN 750's here, and I've got a small mod to get some VC buttons working (mainly direct to and home on #1) - that's all anyone should really need.  Here's just a few pics.  This allows use of the GUI config app from realair (so we don't have to do txt edits to change options) and includes the dawson x64 sound gauge so all sounds work.

Great shots!

I tested the latest installer this morning and it was perfect.

I hope Sean considers updating the installer for the Lancair too.

Thanks Jose, don't quote me but I believe he's considering a Legacy v2 installer.

Looks superb. How will owners of the Prepar3D v3 version get access to the v4 installer when it is released?

Can the aircraft be installed in the Prepar3d SimObjects folder (the old fashioned way) or using the add-on.xml method (the LM way)?

I'm not great with that addon xml thing - but I will tell you I did NOT install it in the usual P3D simobjects folder.  I installed to another addons folder I am using on my hard drive.  Soooo I think it's installed via addon xml

Ryan, what will be the best way to contact Sean?

I will GLADLY pay for these upgrades.

This is wonderful news.  I hope it means that Carla is still doing well.

Thank you,

Bob

Greg

The new installer will install the xml recommended way into docs folder. The airplane doesn't take too much space and it even works with ezdok latest beta version.

Bob,

The update, as far as I know, will be a free update for existing customers who have the p3d version, but want to use it in v4 without going through manual installation methods.

That's very fair.  I appreciate it.

Just finished testing the  Legacy v2 installer and it's also perfecto! Sean has gone out of his way to help out the community and deserves kudos for what he's done.
