Unable to Delete Joystick Buttons

I have a Saitek Yoke with Chase Plane and, as such, have assigned various keys to control my views in Chase Plane. But when I attempt to delete those same buttons assigned to P3D, it doesn’t work. Any assistance will be much appreciated…
