Hi, I have been using Active Sky Next with my FSX setup for a number of years and been very happy with it.  To be honest I was aware of Active Sky 29016 but was pretty happy with what I was already using and not sure what tangible benefits it would give me so I have not upgraded it.

Currently i am still running my FSX setup but have been accumulating scenery and tools that will work also in P3D4 with a view to going across as the platform matures.  I must also admit i don't understand about adding sceneries etc in P3D and  the different tuning required for it and hence it is probably the biggest reason I have not yet made the change.

Anyway I am wondering if owners of ASN for FSX can get a discount to buy the latest Active Sky version for P3D4?  It was bought through Simmarket if that makes any difference.

Any information about how to go about securing the programme at a discounted rate would be appreciated.

Cheers

Yes, ASN does qualify for an active sky p3d v4 version. It's 30 usd.

I bought both through simmarket as well.

Just search for the p3d v4 version of active sky and make sure to buy the upgrade version.

On the first run of active sky, it will ask for your active sky p3d v4 version serial and then immediately ask for your ASN serial. After thst, your all set.

If you search for Active Sky in the SimMarket store, you will find that there is a crossgrade offer for owners of ASN to purchase the P3Dv4 version (Active Sky 4). This would actually be a good time to do it as it is in a sale until the end of this month!
