What is causing my anti-aliased menu?

Consider my in game menu. (top row) Compare that to how it looked just 3 days ago (bottom row)
As you see the text is not as crisp / sharp. What can cause this antialiased effect apart from FXAA which is turned of in P3d and in Nvidia driver?

I have uninstalled my display driver twice with Display Driver uninstaller.

I have restored original P3D shaders (in case some PTA profiles were applying their own antialiasing(?)

I have deleted p3d.cfg

Nothing works. I am running WIN10 on 4K screen set to native resolution. What gives?

check your windows setting for clear type text. On is sharper.

Thanks. That seemed to do the trick.
But I wonder why that happened in the first place. I haven't touched cleartype settings at all.
Anyway, appreciate your assistance.
