TFDi 717 Question

Recommended Posts

Great news. I am undecided if I should snag the 717 or wait for the new MaddogX.

It is my go to plane in V4.1 right now. Great performance and fun to fly. As has been said before, don't think of the V4 beta client like the released CRJ.....it is fairly complete minus some random FMC stuff you most likely would not use much if ever and there are certainly ways around them. Did I mention it handles well in hand flying too?

Don't wait, install it and opt into the community beta, this plane is lots of fun to fly.

What is the level of systems in this airplane? Is it more/less than the Aerosoft CRJ?

Since the Aerosoft CRJ was an epic failure, I am looking for another awesome regional jet.

I flew the latest version of the 717 in P3DV4 last night and found it excellent as usual. In some ways I prefer it to the NGX. It reminds of the MD11. For me the gauges and vc are crystal clear and bright.

No, it’s not got failures and still waiting for a few things like Holds. But really this is a fabulous addon in its current state.

I just bought the 717, and am very pleased with it. The cockpit textures are phenomenal...

Bit of a United fan, but I’m might just get this to replace the CRJ in my fleet, there’s no way I’m flying that abomination in its current state

I am also pleased with the 717, and I really like the developers being transparent, and keeping their customers in the loop. Although not at a FSL like level, it is still a very enjoyable plane to fly, and the TrueGlass feature is pretty neat. I would definitely recommend it as a buy...
