Xtreme Prototype Learjet 25

Recommended Posts

Hello

Someone would have managed to install the XP GTN 750 in this aircraft? I tried a thousand setups and nothing to do to incorporate it.
I am using the popup while waiting for a solution. I know that F1 GTN works.

Thank You.

Hi, I'm not sure there is one such pre-made config posted in the 'Official Panel Configuration' thread, however, we're already in contact with XTreme Prototypes to make this an official option in their fine aircraft.

Yes there is.  It sits behind the GPS and is accessed by clicking a button just above and to the right to access it and other alternatives.

The details are there somewhere in the 200 page manual but I’ll post my panel.cfg here later today.

Awesome aircraft. Cleanest VC ever.

EDIT. sorry not in manual. I was referring to F1 unit but I think my cfg may help - later.

EDIT ignore this I was wrong! See below.

hello

No integration function works with the RXP 750. You tell me about the GTN F1 while I talk about the RXP GTN.

I believe Dean posted a panel.cfg setup for the F1 750. (This creates the positions for the RXP 750). Create a panel.cfg with the contents from above then use the RXP panel assistant to integrate the RXP 750. I don't have the Lear... but that should work.

Hello

No it does not work . If it is possible to do this kind of thing with other aircraft like Carenado for example. With this one the integration RXP is impossible.

Thank you for taking the time to explain.

Unfortunately even following your instructions correctly. Impossible to replace the gauges it looks like P3D V4.1 does not want to listen to the replacement instructions. the plane always has the original gauges.

I did the test three times, nothing to do. It looks like it keeps in memory the old configuration and refuses to replace the gauges, I always see the original gauges. P3D V4.1 or RXP one of the two does not want to.

luckily I have the windows RXP which works well.

It looks like the assistant if not able to 'write' the changes to the panel.cfg file if I follow correctly, but I'm not sure to understand this. Can you explain?

Hello.

Yes it takes into account but makes no change in the cockpit, modifying with the tutorial Bills511.

Ok, can you let me know the full path to your P3D4 installation?

Can you cross check the content of "Documents\rxpGTN_menu.dll.log" if any?

I thank you for the information, however, this content doesn't look like the one in the aforementioned file. If there is no such file on your drive, then just let me know there is none.

As for P3D4 path, can you cross check your account has 'write' access rights to the aircraft folder you are trying to modify with the assistant? (something like "D:\Pepar3D V4\SimObjects\Aircraft\XP_Gates_Learjet_25_v2r1" I'd guess)

Also, are you running P3D4 as admin? If so, you shouldn't, and can you cross check the assistant works when not running in admin, but 'just' as normal user?
