How to fix the FD on a great freeware 737-300 panel?

Featured Replies

I have a great looking 737-300 panel that I use in Fs2004 by Luis da Costa Pereira that I've had for 2-3 years now. Thing is, the FD seems a bit weird. Although it provides correct roll guidance for HDG settings, it does not provide appropriate pitch guidance for a climb or descent, either for manual flight or with the AP switched on. However, it DOES seem to react normally as far as I can see to the LoC/GS for an ILS approach and provides appropriate pitch and roll guidance for that phase. Is there any way I can fix the pitch guidance for regular climbing and descending in this panel? (the panel author has long since vanished somewhere and I fell out of contact with him 2 years ago).Appreciate any....guidance!Thanks,JS

Probably the 'easiest' (depending on how the panel is set up) way is to simply replace the gauge and FD switch with another set from some other panel. Find a panel that has a similar looking gauge and swap.DJ
