PMDG 747-800 prep.

Recommended Posts

Dear fellow flight simulationists and flight stimulators,

In preparation for the forth coming PMDG 747-800, I'd recommend and suggest getting prepared with the Just Planes "747-800 ABC [Air Bridge Cargo]" HD cockpit video (240 mins.)

There is no PMDG 747-800 forthcoming, ever. I certainly wouldn't consider a reference to such a thing as bonafide.

Of course not, just an urge some people seem to need to satisfy as soon as they have the chance to.

There is a 747-8i and 747-8F no airplane called a 747-800, I think that is the point of Dan's snark - David Lee

Quite true...

There is no such thing as a 747-800, so, while it's a bit pedantic, do remember that this is aviation, and that we have three main definitions of the word 'night' - each having its own application.

Speak precisely.

Now if only PFPX would release an update to add -8 profiles...

I'm pretty sure we will be able to get accurate templates for the -8i and 8F for pfpx when it is released.

Maybe Flyprecisely, airlinerperformance.net or others will release some soon?

Now I'm curious. What are the three definitions of night? I only know one.

  1. Period from sunset to sunrise - position lights requirement
  2. Period from 1 hour after sunset to 1 hour prior to sunrise - passenger carriage and currency
  3. End of evening civil twilight to beginning of morning civil twilight - logging
