Questions for the participants in this topic, as I see your posts contain answers.

1) how are you getting single spacing in your posts? Each time I hit the <enter> key I get double spaced lines.

2) how creating the hidden content to shorten the initial appearance of long posts, such as when posting a long .cfg or .ini file?

Thanks...

Hi Frank,

I press ALT+ENTER to get single spaced line.

As for the 'hidden' content, click the 'eye' icon next to the 'Font' drop down list (Spoiler)

Alt-Enter?  Thanks for that. Tried and didn't do anything. So armed with new knowledge I experimented and found it is the shift-Enter combo that works.  I am now a  happy guy!

Now try hiding this....  Great! Worked. Now doubly dangerous twice.  Is that 4X? LOL

Hi Frank,

If you want to avoid the large double line space between sentences you can continue typing until the natural creation of a new line ( which will create a new line single spaced)
Or you can choose when and how to create a new line / paragraph with (Shift + Enter)

Shift + Enter = single line spacing
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX(Shift+ENTER) new line
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Typing to the end of the line creates a new single spaced continuation dropping to the next line depending on the length of the last word.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

or

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX xxxxxxxx ooooo

Enter = double line spacing / New Paragraph

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX(ENTER) new line / Paragraph

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
