Starting from Asau (NSAU) in the west we will land at six airports finishing at Fitiuata (FAQ) on the eastern most island of Ta’u. Flightplan & Pilots Guide: Available here. Aircraft: The route is 212 miles, so we should take a plane that cruises with about 140 KIAS. The most common aircraft used in Samoa are the de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter, the Dornier DO228, and the Brittan Norman BN-2 Islander. These are all good choices but as always you are free to fly what you like.
