Settings for a Softer Horizon

Recommended Posts

New user to PTA here (any version).  After plenty of tinkering and fine tuning, I think I’m closing in on some settings I believe are a balance of looks and realism in P3Dv4 on my setup except one thing.  Does anyone have suggestions on what parameters could soften the overall horizon the best?  I’ve experimented with haze-like combinations but I can’t seem to get a decent balance of far-off visibility and a softer horizon (not a clear, distinct line across the screen).

Thanks.

Try my preset set. You can take that as a base to start from.

Hi Gerard,

Do you think we could make less bright vol fog ? In the night with low vis its simply make everything white

Unfortunately , there is no way to control the amount of Vol Fog at this moment.

That is something LM needs to implement.

Let me check how it looks on my screens tomorrow.
