April 18, 200620 yr I wonder if anyone has experienced the same alert:Avast! 4.6 has detected WIN32:Startpage trojan horse in FSAtmosphere uninstall file Uninstall_FSAtmo.exe located in FS2004's root folder. Do you think this might just be a false alert?J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgium Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
April 18, 200620 yr Author Did you just install the software today?99+% of the time if a long installed file shows up with a warning - it's a false positive. With anti-virus companies releasing updated pattern defintion files several times a day - the public has to do their beta testing.I'm sure in the instructions from Avast! is a manner to submit a suspicious file to them for analysis. That would be the best option. If it's a warning of a real issue - they will let you know. If it's a false positive - that will allow them to make corrections and save many other flightsimmers from having a false positive warning.
